House hunting...

So in case you haven't caught on yet, we spent the week in Richfield for the 1A girls state bball tournament, at which Rich won their second straight state championship. But that is a whole other blog, when I have more time. Point being, before Shani graduates from high school, we will have traveled to Richfield 15 times for various tournaments for she and Kayden. And now they are considering adding state volleyball and wrestling, so the number will only go up. So at $70-$90 a night for motel rooms, we are getting a little ticked at putting out so much $$$ and getting nothing in return. So Kam and I went looking for a house to buy... Doesn't need to be big, just a fix-me-upper kind of place. Yard doesn't need to consist of much since we won't be there that often to keep it up. We narrowed it down to two and put offers on both. Will take which ever one gets back to us first. But, just for fun, you can tell us which one you would prefer - because you know... guests are always welcome. Maybe we could even hold the CCC there! Anyway, let us know which you like. :o)

For some reason, Kam the Camera Man couldn't get all of this house in one shot, so he had to post two of it...

New hat, but which size?

After the rodeo, Kam and I went looking for him a new hat. The pretty orange one only came in three sizes; small, medium, and large. Can you guess which one we got?

small

medium

Bronco Ridin'

Kamren and I apparently had a little too much time on our hands this last week, so we entered a rodeo in Richfield, UT. Only problem was, the judges did not give us a score. We both lasted the full amount of time without getting bucked off. Can you help us out here? Vote for either he or I. Thanks!

This is for the DUKIES!!!

I feel really bad that there are little girls crying themselves to sleep tonight because their "die-hard-daddys" make them cheer for Duke Basketball... Eliza, Tess, it's okay. When you reach the age of basketball-accountability, you can make your own choice as to who to cheer for. Enough said... :0)

#5 Lawson was the MVP and #5 Kamren is my MVP!

This is how the boys dressed for school this morning.

.

Here are the kids after the game... Don't look that excited, do they? Just another win over Duke, what's new?

And JD - it was well worth the .40 - in fact, I will be more than happy to reimburse you and even add a dime, to make it an even fifty cents!

Oh Baby, It's COLD Outside!

As most of you know, I go walking 4-5 times a week with a couple of friends after we load the kids on the school bus. I try and take Cheyenne with me at least once a week. Today was her day and boy, was it COLD! And foggy! And wet! You can see that she got frosted up just a little bit. Can't imagine why - it was a balmy 14 degrees!

This is what things looked like down by my father-in-laws. My own version of a Thomas Kinkade picture! Hope you are warm wherever you are!
