Change of Harvest...

Okay folks - this is it... Fresh off the press... Ned and I have done some soul-searching and have decided after re-evaluating our summer crops, that we are much better at raising corn than raspberries - as you can see in the photo above. Why waste time raising little tiny raspberries when we can serve up husky cobs like this? So we have just finished plowing up the raspberries (3 acres total) and plowed up another 8 acres in front of the house. As soon as the threat of frost is over next spring (about mid-July) we would appreciate all the help you can give us to get the corn crop in. Stay tuned for more information!

Corn? Are we happy about this?! Do you make your own butter too?

Hmmm...since I haven't gotten any raspberries for a few years, maybe corn is a good idea. At least they are easier to pick, right?
